Within the scope of a rebranding competition, WEbrand Agency submitted a proposal for the new visual identity of Transportes Metropolitanos de Lisboa. TML’s rebranding is based on the graphic design of the lines that make up the network diagram of the various forms of transport.
It is a very familiar concept, present in the daily lives of Lisbon residents. This makes it possible to quickly associate the brand with collective public transport (train, bus, metro, tram and river transport). The main objective of developing this new visual identity was to update and modernise TML’s image while reinforcing the increasingly ecological character of the city of Lisbon by investing in cycle paths and the consolidation of green spaces.
